Location:  Wantage, Oxfordshire

Salary: up to £14.50 per hour

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Cook to provide fresh, high-quality food for between 40 and 60 employees. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, creating new menu ideas, and delivering great food in a friendly workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of fresh, healthy, and balanced deli-style lunch options, including wraps, sandwiches, salads, soups, paninis, cakes and sweet treats.
• Plan and create innovative menus within budget.
• Manage food ordering and stock control.
• Cater for dietary requirements and allergies.
• Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, health & safety and food presentation.

About You

• Experienced cook with the ability to work both in a small team and independently.
• Creative and passionate about food.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Organised, budget conscious and proactive.
• Friendly, approachable and enjoys engaging with colleagues.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport due to rural location.
