Job Title: Groundworker

Location: Stainton, Middlesbrough

Pay Rate: -20.00 per hour (CIS)

Contract Type: Temporary / Contract

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Groundworker for an immediate start on a busy project in the Consett area. If you are a skilled operative with a strong work ethic and a solid background in civils and groundwork, we want to hear from you.

• Digging trenches for building footings and foundations

• Pouring, compacting, and finishing concrete slabs and foundations

• Sub-base preparation and general site enabling works.

• Assisting the machine operators and working safely as part of a team.

• Experience: Proven track record in both deep drainage and kerbing (this is essential).

• Qualifications: Valid CSCS card (CPCS/NPORS for dumper/roller is a major bonus but not essential).

• Tools: Must have your own full PPE and standard hand tools.

• Reliability: Strong commitment to health and safety, turning up on time, and delivering high-quality work.

• Competitive rate of -20.00 per hour.

• Paid weekly via CIS (Construction Industry Scheme).

• Potential for ongoing, long-term work for the right candidate.
