Electrical Technician Hourly Rate: £18 - £23Location: SurreyJob Type: FT We are seeking an Electrical Technician to support and facilitate practical workshops, providing technical support to lecturers and students. This role is crucial in creating and maintaining a high-quality and safe environment that enhances learning experiences. Day-to-day of the role: Ensure workshops, classrooms, and compound areas are kept clean, tidy, and in a safe and orderly condition.Report serious defects or safety hazards promptly.Prepare all equipment, tools, and materials for lessons and demonstrations.Ensure adequate stocks of materials, components, tools, and equipment are held on site. Required Skills and Qualifications: Level 2 construction craft qualification.Level 2 - Maths and English.Forklift truck licence or the ability and willingness to achieve this (desirable).Relevant industrial experience in an electrical or related field.Excellent organisational skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
