Pertemps Recruitment are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client''s busy Waste and Recycling teamLocation: EH7 6RDHours of work: Tuesday to Friday 06.00 - 16.45 with 45 minute unpaid breakRate of Pay: £16.30 per hourTemporary ongoing work with no end dateImmediate StartThe Class 2 Driver will:Safely operate an HGV C2 bin lorry on designated routes within Edinburgh.Collect and transport waste and recyclables to disposal and recycling facilities.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the vehicle.Provide excellent customer service when interacting with the public.The Class 2 Driver requires:Valid HGV C2 (Class 2) license.CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.Digital Tachograph card.Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Apply ..... full job details .....
