Our client in Evesham has an exciting, newly created opportunity for a Management Accountant to help bring their finance function in house.This is a 6-month FTC with the possibility of going permanent.Key DutiesDeliver timely monthly management accounts and financial reportsPrepare and review profit and loss statements with commentaryAssist with month-end processes, ensuring accuracy and completenessPerform balance sheet reconciliations and support regular reviewsContribute to improving payroll processes by bringing more capability in-houseAnalyse margins, costs, and profitability across projects or business areasIdentify inconsistencies, inefficiencies, or gaps in financial reportingSupport forecasting and improve visibility of cashflowHelp refine internal controls and finance proceduresPartner with non-finance stakeholders to communicate financial performance clearlyCollaborate with external accountants, working towards reducing reliance on outsourced supportSupport and guide junior finance team members, encouraging continuous improvementProvide insight to enhance performance tracking across multiple business streamsAbout YouProven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role within an SME environmentConfident producing management accounts and interpreting financial dataStrong understanding of balance sheets and reconciliation processesConfident improving finance processes and ..... full job details .....
