Our client, a low volume and bespoke manufacturing business in Leeds, seek to appoint a Production Engineer to improve manufacturing techniques to increase efficiency on the shop floor and aid the smooth introduction of products from RandD into production. Working alongside multiple departments you will be a good communicator able to quickly integrate and have at least three years'' experience of working for a manufacturer with an on-site RandD team.Reporting in to the Manufacturing Manager you will also produce basic tooling aids for ease of manufacture and be the point of contact within the lean function to answer queries on production engineering for the quality, production, maintenance and design departments.
