History Teacher

Randstad Education is looking for a dedicated History Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Birmingham. This is a full-time position starting in April 2026 and running until the end of the academic year. The Role We are seeking an educator who doesn''t just recite dates but explores the "why" behind the "when." You will be responsible for delivering high-quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring all students are supported and challenged. Requirements To be successful in this role, you must be a resilient professional with a deep knowledge of the British curriculum. We are looking for an educator who is as organised as they are engaging. UK Experience: You must have previous experience teaching History in a UK school setting. Qualifications: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Subject Knowledge: A strong command of the KS3 and KS4 History curriculum (KS5 experience is a bonus). Compliance: Must possess or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
