Care Worker / Support Worker / Healthcare AssistantThe Care Worker / Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will assist the team with daily routines including personal care and feeding.Candidates with some experience in care and a compassionate nature are preferred.Responsibilities include:Helping patients with washing, showering, dressingAssisting with feeding and serving foodMaking and changing bedsTurning patients to prevent pressure soresProviding companionship to reduce anxietyHelping patients move aroundAssisting with toileting and collecting bedpansMaintaining cleanliness of wards or homesManaging supplies and equipmentWork may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients within hospital departments.
