The collection of brands within the company portfolio include: Create, Ultimate Experience, Gather and Gather, Company of Cooks, and many more.Job Title: Senior Operations Manager - Bespoke EventsSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + bonusLocation: Wimbledon with regular travel to central LondonWorking Pattern: 40 hours per week, predominantly Monday - Friday with flexibility required over weekends and evenings for eventsThe role:As a Senior Operations Manager, you will work within the operations team and report into the Operations Director. You will be passionate about events, a foodie, personable, motivated, a team player and driven by providing a 5-star service.Typical activities and responsibilities will include:Successful event planning and event delivery across a wide range of prestigious venues, clients and agentsProvision of seamless operational delivery across a variety of diverse event styles, including 3 course dinners, canapé and bowl food receptions, conferences and food station events.Exceptional level of customer service, exceeding client expectationsDeliver events in line with budget set by sales teamMotivate, lead and support team as the only senior sales managerSupplier managementCarry out operational site visits with both venue representative and clientsSupport sales team with supplier costings and updatesLiaise with Head Chef, and kitchen team, on logistical matters for eventsManage and coordinate event logistics/operations on siteAdhere to necessary Health and Safety obligations stipulated by venues and/or clientsThe ideal candidate will have:Proven track record of 3-4 years within catering/hospitality/venues/agencyHave experience of running large and complex events within London venuesExceptional attention to detail and organisational skillsDemonstrate excellent communication - fluent conversational/writtenEnglish is essentialAbility to manage budgets and understanding of company profit marginsAbility and confidence to negotiate with suppliersAbility to work and problem solve when under pressureAbility to motivate teams onsiteA proactive approach with enthusiasm and commercial awarenessStrong time management skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team as well as individuallyAn interest in catering and events industryComputer literacy with excellent knowledge of Microsoft software including Excel and WordWhat''s in it for you?Working with Create has its perks!
