We are working with a well-established food business that supplies fresh produce and prepared produce ingredients to major retailers. They focus on delivering high-quality, fresh products with a strong emphasis on food safety, traceability, and customer specifications. They are now looking for a passionate Quality Auditor to join the team.

As a Quality Auditor, you will work closely with all departments to ensure products are produced in line with customer specifications and internal standards. Responsibilities will include completing quality records daily or at the agreed frequency outlined in the product specification, carrying out start-up and completion checks, and performing routine production quality checks. This includes checks such as product weight verification, packaging integrity checks, paperwork verification, and ensuring all batch codes and dates are correctly entered and traceable. You will also support the wider team in maintaining high standards across the site and ensuring food safety and quality requirements are consistently met.

This role would suit someone from a food manufacturing QA or QC background, ideally within fresh produce or prepared food environments, who is confident making quality-based decisions and has a solid understanding of HACCP and sampling practices. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be working with multiple departments, and the ability to work effectively within a busy team environment is important. Good IT skills are required, and a full driving licence is essential for this role as it involves driving as part of the job.
