The Role
Growth and Business DevelopmentWorking with the Regional Director and Business development team to develop opportunities with key prospects within the Midlands areas.Developing own book of prospectsContributing to the sales strategy within the MidlandsNetworking and meeting local/relevant business leaders in the communityActive use and promotion of WTW on LinkedInCollaborating with other WTW colleagues, lines of business and practice leaders to deliver the best WTW solutions to prospects possibleMaintaining a personal portfolio of clientsBeing part of the Account Director community to utilise the full breadth of skills and experience from the broader WTW business, to connect WTW and deliver the best of WTW to our clients and our prospects and sharing best practice.Conduct Risk:Maintaining a good knowledge of conduct risk and compliance requirements, ensuring that all activities are compliantPutting the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way they do businessOtherSupport overall operational governanceSupport management and the wider Company in the management of risks applicable to areas of employmentAny other duties commensurate with position or level of responsibilityMaintain relevant qualifications required for the role and actively manage own personal development.QualificationsCompetenciesClient DevelopmentImpact and InfluenceConcern for QualityUnderstanding OthersTeamwork and CollaborationAchievement OrientationOrganisational Awareness.Qualifications:Excellent and proven client relationship and management skillsDemonstrable track record in development and winning of propectsStrong leadership skills.Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence within a complex environmentStrong facilitation skills – able to use inclusive and collaborative styles to manage ambiguity, gain agreement and manage conflictStrong skills in problem solvingHigh levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy, operating environment and business objectivesStrong communication, negotiating and influencing skillsStrong awareness of compliance environment with thorough understanding of conduct riskA proactive ambassador for WTW in the external business community.Equal OpportunityWe (WTW) believe difference makes us stronger.
