Invest in building and mentoring a strong teamWork with product managers to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios - Continuously improve software engineering practicesLead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutionsWork across to improve the velocity of your and other teamsLead efforts to deploy new and existing applications into AWS environmentsBreak existing monolithic applications into micro service architectures and build new microservicesDirector of Software Engineering - Requirements:Highly technical hands-on and an effective people leader7 years of experience in software developmentExtensive experience building services using back end technologies (Java, Spring, Hibernate)5 years of experience in people management5+ years of experience in Agile practicesExperience working within a consumer-facing environmentSeniority level
