Quality Engineer Winchester based with travel 50,000 DOEFull Time PermanentWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a highly regulated engineering and manufacturing environment supporting major nuclear and defence projects across the UK.This is an excellent opportunity for a QA/QC professional with experience in regulated industries such as Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Defence, Aerospace or Heavy Engineering to play a key role in ensuring compliance, traceability and quality assurance throughout complex engineering projects.The RoleYou will support project delivery by overseeing quality assurance, supplier quality activities, inspections and compliance across fabrication, welding, testing and installation activities.Working closely with engineering, project and manufacturing teams, you will ensure all products and processes meet contractual, regulatory and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and QA/QC proceduresConduct internal and supplier auditsManage non-conformances, root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actionsReview manufacturing documentation, LTQRs, quality records and inspection reportsSupport supplier qualification and surveillance activitiesCarry out inspections on fabricated equipment and assembliesWitness testing activities including FAT and SATEnsure compliance with ISO 9001, AQAP and regulated industry quality standardsSupport welding, NDT and material ..... full job details .....
