Housing Support Worker Independent Living Housing Support Community-Based Services Location: Ilkeston and Ripley, Derbyshire DE7 Pay: £13.50 per hour PAYE £17.39 per hour Umbrella Contract: Full-time, Mon-Fri 9-5pm Initially 2-3 months, with potential extension Driving: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle essential, mileage will be paid subject to business insurance. Client Snapshot: An established housing and support charity is seeking an experienced Housing Support Worker to assist individuals accessing its independent living services across Derbyshire. The service provides accommodation-based and community support to adults whose mental health affects their ability to manage day-to-day responsibilities and maintain stable housing. Vacancy Brief: We are looking for a confident and compassionate Housing Support Worker to provide practical housing-related support to individuals in the Ilkeston and Ripley areas. You will manage a caseload independently, helping people maintain their tenancies, access appropriate financial support and develop the confidence to live independently. The Responsibilities: Deliver person-centred housing-related support to vulnerable adults. Assist with housing benefit applications, budgeting, welfare entitlements and income maximisation.
