Fawkes and Reece are now assisting in the search for a Quantity Surveyor to join a super prime residential contractor in Basingstoke. The contractor is one which specialises in the new build/extension of bespoke homes and refurbishment of listed buildings valuing from -20mil - -100mil.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for either managing your own smaller scale project or working within the commercial team on larger scale schemes.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Take projects from Estimator handover
• Manage sub-contract procurement
• Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:

• Proven track record working with reputable main contractors
• Experience managing a project as commercial lead on site
• Experience working on super prime residential schemes is beneficial but not essential
• Have the full right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance to Basingstoke
