Materials Controller (Buying)

Permanent Position

-30,000 - -35,000 per annum

We are looking for a-Materials Controller / Buyer-to join a busy manufacturing environment, supporting the sourcing and purchasing of electronic components and materials.

The Role

• Source components, pricing and availability from suppliers.
• Purchase materials in line with customer requirements and agreed costs.
• Identify and resolve material shortages and supply issues.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, returns and replacements.
• Maintain accurate materials and supplier information within internal systems.
• Work closely with production and internal teams to ensure orders are delivered on time.
• Assist with invoice and purchase order queries.
• Support the purchasing of general consumables as required.

About You

• Previous experience purchasing or sourcing-electronic components-is essential.
• Experience dealing with electronic component suppliers is highly desirable.
• Good IT skills, including Excel and databases.
