Year 1 Teacher (Maternity Cover) - Dartford

An established and welcoming primary school in Dartford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis until the end of the academic year.

The Role:

• Full-time teaching position within a Year 1 class
• Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
• Maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be committed, reliable, and enthusiastic about teaching
• Have a sound understanding of phonics and early learning strategies
