Finance ManagerReed Finances are pleased to be partnering with a leading UK manufacturing business who are seeking an experienced Finance Manager. This is a key hire when you will oversee the operational finance function and support the Board with statutory governance responsibilities. This is a hands-on leadership role based on-site, working closely with production, commercial and senior leadership teams.Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of financial reporting, audit management, compliance, treasury activities and the development of a small, well-established finance team.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Leadership and OperationsLead month-end and year-end close processesPrepare management accounts, variance analysis and board reporting packsManage statutory accounts preparation and act as primary contact for external auditorsOversee VAT preparation and submissionSupport corporation tax processes alongside external advisorsManage cashflow forecasting, banking relationships and treasury activitiesMaintain strong internal controls and drive process improvementsManufacturing and Inventory AccountingOversee inventory accounting, stock valuation and costing processesCollaborate with production and operations teams to ensure accurate financial dataTeam LeadershipLine manage and develop a small team of finance professionalsProvide clear direction, workload prioritisation and ongoing performance supportCompany Secretary and GovernanceEnsure statutory and ..... full job details .....
