Our client is looking to recruit an Electrical & Mechanical Fitter to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical and/or mechanical assembly experience to join a well-established manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical assembly of components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Wiring and power supply assembly
• Build wiring looms and cable assemblies.
• Mechanical fitting, including cutting, drilling and tapping
• Assemble mechanical components and cooling systems.
• Carry out testing and self-inspection to ensure quality standards are met.
• Complete relevant production documentation.
• Work closely with colleagues to achieve production targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in electrical and/or mechanical assembly within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with wiring looms or cable assemblies.
• Soldering and/or brazing experience.
• Experience working within a production or engineering environment.
• Commute to Rugby easily-
