My client is a rapidly expanding, acquisitive accountancy firm providing tailored accounting, audit, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and High Net Worth individuals. They are now looking to recruit a Senior Accountant / Audit Senior for a varied role split approximately 50% accounting and 50% audit work. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients (limited companies, partnerships, sole traders) Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance and mentorship Liaise directly with clients, building and maintaining strong relationships Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards Assist with corporation tax computations and returns Requirements ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Demonstrable experience in practice, including audit Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and auditing standards Experience managing audit assignments and leading small teams Experience working with SMEs and owner-managed businesses Exposure to cloud accounting systems and digital tools Interest in business advisory and client relationship development This is a great opportunity with clear career development prospects and interviews are ongoing so apply now. ..... full job details .....
