About the role : Assistant Quantity SurveyorAs the Quantity Surveyor, you''ll report to the Commercial manager. You and the commercial team oversee numerous projects with a total value ranging upto the 100m mark.You will need to report to the Head office Monday-Friday - 100% office/site based role.The company are growing rapidly and have a large forward order book of leading construction projects with an opportunity to progress over the next couple of years. Responsibilities for Assistant Quantity SurveyorCosting: Accurately pricing the costs of materials, labour and equipment required for each project and submitting quotations for works. Ensuring scheme costs are correct on the system and raising queries where necessary.Tender Preparation: Preparing and reviewing tender documentsSupplier and Subcontractor relations: Liaise with operational staff, including clients and subcontractors. Attending internal / external meetings when necessary and fostering good relationships.
