Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable ManagerOverviewPrivately owned high-end restaurant chain in Central London is recruiting for an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager. The role is permanent and sits within a mid-sized finance team. You will have full responsibility for the transactional finance function, day-to-day activities, and future planning.

Responsibilities

Leading a team of 4 Accounts Payable Clerks and 2 Accounts Receivable Clerks

Overseeing invoice processing and payment procedures and implementing improvements as appropriate

Overseeing billing and invoicing procedures

Month-end activities including balance sheet reconciliations

Reconciliations of supplier balances, customer balances, and bank reconciliations

Drive process improvements, streamline procedures, automate where possible, and explore the use of AI in finance

Vendor negotiations and relations management

Qualifications

Proven experience managing purchase and/or sales ledger teams

Experience implementing financial automation

Good knowledge of Excel

Awareness of AI applications in financial operations
