SEN Teacher - Primary Phase (ASD and Communication and Interaction Needs) Location: Barnsley Start Date: September Contract: Long-Term / Full-Time Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity at a brand-new specialist SEN school opening in Barnsley this September. The school will provide a nurturing, highly personalised learning environment for primary-aged pupils whose primary needs are ASD and Communication and Interaction difficulties. This is a unique chance to join a new school from the very beginning, helping to establish a positive culture and shape an outstanding provision that enables every child to thrive. The Role As an SEN Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs. Support pupils with ASD and Communication and Interaction needs to achieve their full potential. Create a structured, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families, and external professionals. Develop personalised learning programmes and contribute to EHCP targets and reviews. Promote pupils'' social, emotional, communication, and independence skills alongside academic progress. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for teachers who: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
