Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children in line with the EYFS.

Collaborate with teams to deliver engaging activities and maintain routines in the nursery.

Build positive relationships with children and families to create a welcoming and supportive environment.

Support safeguarding and child protection within the setting.

Promote a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children.

Qualifications and requirements

Desirable but not essential: Level 2 qualified or higher in a UK-recognised early years qualification.

Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, or enthusiasm to learn more.

Knowledge of safeguarding children.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate is mandatory for all positions, and this role will be subject to enhanced checks as part of safeguarding duties.
