The Role

As Class Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons, ensuring teaching meets the needs of pupils with a range of abilities and talents.

You will take responsibility for pupils'' academic progress and pastoral wellbeing, working closely with colleagues and support staff to provide an exceptional learning experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Creating a stimulating, positive and well-organised learning environment
• Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress
• Providing excellent pastoral care and supporting individual pupil wellbeing
• Setting high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement
• Providing constructive feedback to support continued progress
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and fellow teachers
• Building positive and professional relationships with parents
• Preparing pupil reports and contributing to parents'' evenings
• Supporting school trips, activities, productions and events
• Playing an active role in the wider life of the school

About You

We are looking for a fully qualified teacher who is an excellent classroom practitioner with strong and up-to-date curriculum knowledge.
