We are working with one of our long-standing clients, a highly regarded and established organisation based in Harrogate, who are looking to appoint an experienced Health and Safety Compliance professional. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a varied, hands-on role, combining desk-based compliance and policy work with a strong presence across the site. You will work closely with the Estates Manager and wider teams to ensure Health and Safety standards, statutory requirements and compliance processes are maintained to a high standard. The role You will take responsibility for a broad range of Health and Safety compliance activities, including: Maintaining and reviewing Health and Safety policies, procedures and compliance systems. Ensuring statutory inspections, testing and servicing are completed and accurately recorded. Carrying out risk assessments, audits, inspections and compliance reviews. Supporting compliance across Fire Safety, Asbestos, Legionella, COSHH, CDM and contractor management. Maintaining central compliance records, registers and documentation. Monitoring actions arising from audits, inspections and risk assessments. Supporting accident, incident and near-miss reporting, including RIDDOR.
