Night Residential Children’s Practitioner Level 2 (Nights) D Springwood | 8780 | Permanent Contract | 25.66 hours per week | £31,537 to £33,699 pro rata per annum plus weekend enhancements | Grade G | NorwichYoung people are at the heart of our practice at Norfolk County Council. Supporting and providing meaningful day to day activities to children and young people, helping them to develop their emotional and social needs by building positive relationships.Developing personal and practical skills to enhance young peoplec independence skills.Ensuring that childrenc and young peoplec s diverse communication needs are met, ascertaining their views and wishes and ensuring that these are acted upon where appropriate.Reporting and recording key aspects of care and developing your professional skills as part of ongoing development.Managing complex behaviours that can be challenging.Provide personal intimate care and/or nursing care support to holistically support children and young people, when required.Work in collaboration and also directly with families and other professionals to ensure best outcomes for children and young people.Hold or be willing to work towards the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (paid for).Qualifications and Requirements

Experience as a Residential Child Care practitioner or equivalent preferred.Willingness to work night shifts; the post is predominately nights but may include day work to support training, development and supervision.Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays as part of a rotating pattern.Hold or be willing to work towards the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (paid for).In Return We Will Offer You
