Project Manager
6 Month Contract
Manchester Based
Up to -550 per day Outside IR35 MAX

• Manage the day-to-day performance and delivery of design consultants, ensuring design activities are completed to programme, quality, and budget requirements.
• Oversee the development and delivery of outline and detailed design, ensuring key project milestones, planning submissions, and approvals are achieved.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including preparing tender documentation and supporting contract award and mobilisation of design services.
• Monitor project performance through programme, commercial, risk, and governance management, providing regular progress reporting.

• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design consultants on complex infrastructure or construction, rail, highways or active travel infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrable experience delivering projects through outline and detailed design phases, including planning submissions and technical approvals.
• Experience managing project programmes, budgets, risks, and commercial performance to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Experience coordinating procurement activities, including the preparation of tender documentation and contract mobilisation.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to work collaboratively across project teams, consultants, contractors, and external organisations.
