Our projects will improve the customer journeys on our Mobile application and both customer and adviser web portal journeys as well as projects to increase efficiency of our operations. Manage complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of businessFull project life cycle management from initiation to deployment, with proven ability to operate at different stages of the project cycle simultaneously.Provide leadership for project team by coaching and motivating team members to meet project goals, to ensure they realise their potentialProvide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadershipUnderstand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needsPromote continuous improvement by activelyengaging within colleagues across COO and other areas of Royal London.Build a collaborative, commercial relationshipwith 3rd parties to manage costs and maximise value .The role will lead and / or People Manage technical resources comprising internal, contract and supplier resource.Matrix management across multiple disciplines - BAs, developers, testers, technical resources, third parties and business SMEs.About you

Proven track record of successful project and programme delivery, ideally in a Financial Services environment.Experience of building and leading high performing teams, creating a supportive environment to maximise colleague contribution and engagement.Highly competent in use of planning tools and experienced in operating financial and risk control frameworks in a project setting.Proactivity and future thinking around the managementand control ofprogramme/project costs and benefits.Strong stakeholder management experience at all levels up to C-suite.Thorough understanding of different project delivery methodologies and ways of working and able to adopt the most suitable approach to a given project.A self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision or direction.About Royal London
