Interim Deputy Headteacher

A specialist education setting is seeking an experienced Interim Deputy Headteacher to provide strategic and operational leadership support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Curriculum leadership and development
• Quality assurance and monitoring of teaching and learning
• Assessment, data and pupil progress tracking
• School improvement planning and implementation
• Staff deployment and operational leadership
• Safeguarding leadership support
• Supporting standards, outcomes and provision across the school

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven senior leadership experience within education
• Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and school improvement
• Experience of safeguarding and leading teams
• Ability to drive standards and support whole-school development

Experience within specialist, SEND or alternative provision settings would be advantageous.
