We''re currently recruiting for a Highway Maintenance Operative based in Newport Pagnell (MK16 8DS) on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team maintaining vital road infrastructure across the region.

Schedule: 5-week rota (4 weeks nights, 1 week days)

• Days: 07:00-15:30 (Mon-Fri)

• Nights: 19:00-03:30 (Mon-Fri)

Duties:

• Summer: Lane closures, barrier repairs, inspections, debris removal, cone deployment

• Winter: Gritting across the network

Training (within 8 months, performance-based):

• IPV Motorway Training

• Lantra TTMBC & 12A Traffic Management

• Highways England Winter Maintenance

Requirements:

• HGV Class 2 licence

• Valid Driver CPC

Pay & Benefits:

• Days: -13.84/hr

• Nights: -18.45/hr

• Overtime: Base + 50% (Weekdays, Sat, Sun)

• Standby Retainer: -143/week

• Winter Maintenance: Paid as overtime
