Head of Finance Location: Norwich Sector: Financial Services A newly created Head of Finance role has arisen within a profitable, scaling financial services business. The company is entering an exciting phase of growth, investment and operational evolution, and requires a high-calibre individual to shape the finance function, strengthen controls and provide genuine commercial insight at board level. There is a clear and realistic progression route to Finance Director / CFO as the organisation continues to grow. The Role: Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take full ownership of the finance function across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include: Production of accurate monthly management accounts and performance reporting Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and forward financial planning Cashflow and liquidity management Strengthening internal controls, governance and financial processes Oversight of statutory accounts and management of the external audit relationship Supporting funding requirements, capital planning and strategic growth initiatives Enhancing systems, reporting capability and automation Leadership and development of two Accounts staff. Whilst transactional processing is handled within the team, you will need to be comfortable overseeing activity in a busy, data-driven setting.
