Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £13.00–£13.78 per hour + overtime enhancement
Sleep-in rate: £69 per night
Permanent | 37.5 hours per week

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions? We’re looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our team in a supported living complex in Newcastle.

This service provides self-contained apartments for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, some of whom may also experience mental health challenges, including those related to alcohol and addiction.

What You’ll Do

• Provide person-centred support to individuals in their own homes
• Promote independence and wellbeing
• Support with daily living tasks, emotional wellbeing, and community engagement
• Work flexibly across shifts, including waking nights and sleep-ins

What We’re Looking For

• Required, previous experience in:
  • Learning disabilities
  • Mental health services
  • Substance misuse support
• A compassionate, reliable, and flexible approach
• Commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and choice
