Your new company An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established organisation based in Cranfield, on a 6-month temporary contract.Your new role Working as part of a busy finance team, you will be responsible for managing outstanding debt, ensuring timely collections and maintaining accurate account records. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional approach to debt recovery and the ability to handle sensitive financial matters effectively.Chasing outstanding debt via telephone, email and written correspondenceManaging debt recovery processes and reducing aged debt balancesResolving account queries and payment disputes efficientlyNegotiating payment plans where appropriateMaintaining accurate records of all collection activityProducing reports on outstanding balances and collection performanceLiaising with internal departments to support debt resolutionWhat you''ll need to succeed Previous Credit Control experience is essentialStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently and prioritise workload effectivelyHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailExperience within a university, college or education environment would be highly advantageousWhat you''ll get in return If you are an experienced Credit Controller available for an immediate start and looking for your next interim opportunity, we would be keen to hear from you.Flexible hybrid working with a 40% onsite ..... full job details .....
