Senior Residential Support Worker Location: Bacup, Lancashire Contract: Permanent Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off, including sleep-ins Salary: £14.50 per hour Sleep-In: £50 per sleep-in shift Your Opportunity We are recruiting for a small, supportive children s residential home in Bacup that provides high-quality, trauma-informed care to young people. We are looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker who can provide exceptional care while taking greater responsibility for supporting the team and the day-to-day running of the home. This is an ideal opportunity for someone already working within residential childcare who is ready to take the next step, or an established Senior Support Worker looking to join a close-knit and supportive organisation. You ll lead by example, support colleagues on shift and help ensure young people receive consistent, safe and nurturing care. Key Responsibilities Lead shifts and support the effective day-to-day running of the home. Provide guidance and support to Residential Support Workers and less experienced team members. Provide a safe, nurturing and stable environment for young people. Support the physical, emotional, behavioural and developmental needs of the children in your care. Build positive relationships with young people and encourage independence and personal development.
