Senior Quantity Surveyor
£80,000 - £90,000 per annum

Our client is a highly regarded specialist main contractor delivering exceptional high-end residential projects across London and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team.

The successful candidate will have proven experience working within the high-end residential sector, with a strong understanding of luxury refurbishments, bespoke residential developments and complex construction projects.
The Role:

• Senior Quantity Surveyor working across a portfolio of high-end residential projects.
• Managing projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Taking responsibility for all commercial aspects of assigned projects.
• Producing cost plans, budgets, forecasts and valuations.
• Managing procurement and subcontractor packages.
• Reviewing and negotiating subcontractor quotations.
• Preparing and issuing tender packages.
• Managing variations, valuations and change control.
• Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and commercially successful.
• Working closely with project teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Supporting procurement strategies and value engineering opportunities.
• Managing final accounts and project close-out.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within high-end residential construction is essential.
• Experience working on luxury residential refurbishments, bespoke homes, extensions or complex residential projects.
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent cost management skills.
• Experience working for a residential main contractor or specialist luxury contractor.
• Confident managing subcontractor accounts and negotiating packages.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and project stakeholders.
• A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Degree qualified or relevant construction/commercial experience preferred.

Experience Required:

• High-end residential experience (essential).
• Main contractor background preferred.
• Experience managing projects from £5m+ desirable.
• Experience with bespoke finishes, luxury specifications and complex refurbishments advantageous.
