MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician

My client is a well-established and respected independent garage with a reputation for quality, reliability, and excellent customer service. They offer a full range of vehicle maintenance, repair, and MOT services for all makes and models. They pride themselves on delivering first-class service and maintaining long-standing relationships with their customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards and regulations
• Carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and within given timeframes
• Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Provide excellent customer service and support when required
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

• Qualified MOT Tester (Class 4 minimum) with a current DVSA license
• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
