SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant in Milton Keynes to support a Year 4 pupil with autism spectrum disorder and challenging behaviours on a 1:1 basis within a primary school.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant in Milton Keynes who is patient, consistent and confident supporting children who may require additional help with their behaviour, emotional regulation and learning.
Pay: -465500 per week, depending on experience and qualifications
The role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant in Milton Keynes, you will work closely with the pupil and the wider school team to provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day. You will help the child access learning, develop positive relationships and build confidence within the classroom environment.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant in Milton Keynes will ideally have experience working with children with ASD, challenging behaviours or other additional needs. However, the school is also open to candidates who have the right attitude, resilience and genuine passion for supporting children.

- Experience supporting children with SEN, ASD or challenging behaviours
- A patient, calm and consistent approach
- Strong behaviour management skills
- The ability to build a positive relationship with a child
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Someone who is passionate about helping children develop and succeed
- Previous experience in a primary school or specialist setting is desirable
