James Lewis is currently assisting a key client in their search for a Senior/Lead Mechanical Estimator to join a Top 30 MandE Contractor in the city who have been well established for over 23 years. As a privately owned Mechanical and Electrical Building Services contractor they provide services across Design and Build, full MandE services, HVAC, IT infrastructures, CCTV, security, access control and fire alarms. The company has been founded upon sound practises, quality installations and working closely with their clients on a range of projects which include, commercial, education, MOJ/custodial, residential, healthcare, data centres and healthcare ranging in value up to 20m. This is a hands-on role with a responsibility for the production of Mechanical tenders. Key responsibilities include: You will have to break down client enquiries Organise or complete the required surveys and prepare detailed Mechanical estimates, tenders and quotations to ensure that opportunities are being accurately estimated competitively, successfully and profitably Identify, quantify and mitigate areas of commercial risk. Support the Business in client meetings and estimation/tender presentations to help secure tendered opportunities Using relevant industry experience, you will be expected to help develop and refine the estimation process to improve efficiency, clarity, and accuracy while reducing overall costs As the Lead Estimator, at times you will need to support/direct the more junior ..... full job details .....
