Job Title: Experienced Geography Teacher

Do you set high expectations for your students, supporting them to meet their full potential, across the full Geography curriculum?

Do you have confident classroom presence, consistently engaging students of all abilities in your lessons and with their assessments?

We have partnered with a well-established secondary school that has recently joined a large and supportive multi-academy trust; the school are looking for an experienced Geography Teacher to join them from September. In this role, you will teach across the full Geography curriculum at KS3 and KS4, and, based on experience and subject knowledge, potentially KS5.

Teachers and leaders at this school recognise the importance of a warm-strict approach to classroom management, ensuring students feel cared for whilst maintaining firm boundaries and high expectations. Teachers at this school plan effective lessons that engage students and allow them to apply their learning independently. The school has a diverse student and staff population, building positive relationships based on empathy and respect.

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and confident classroom presence
• Have completed your ECT or NQT Induction and hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Have a degree in Geography or a closely related subject
• Foster positive relationships with your students, setting and maintaining high expectations
• Demonstrate high standards of professionalism
• Communicate clearly and confidently, verbally and in writing
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
