Executive Director Brief: To partner with the Artistic Director to form key strategic policy and to take responsibility for the efficient running and financial management of the company. To marry the artistic ambition with the logistical, financial and practical resources of the company and to create and sustain a business model to do so. To oversee the practical delivery of the artistic programme. To drive imaginative strategic thinking, analysis, financial management and rigour throughout the senior management team in response to the artistic ambition, and to create initiatives and operational strategy to do so. To secure the day to day operation of the company, creating an environment in which everyone working at the Almeida can flourish. To report to the Board of Trustees on a regular basis to ensure that the Board is aware of key strategic, operational and financial matters. Responsible for Artistic Programme: Overseeing the producing and delivery of the artistic programme working across all areas to a strategic, financial and practical plan within available resources.
