JOB- Senior Mechanical Design EngineerLOCATION- WarwickshireTERM- PermanentSALARY- £57,000 - £62,000, dependent on experienceMy client is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis in the Warwickshire area. They are manufacturers of mechanical and special purpose machinery systems taking things from design through to manufacture assembly and installation. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing large rotating equipment such as turbines or generators within Oil and Gas or Renewable Energy industryies.The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: HNC/HND/ Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar work based experienceAt least 5 years'' experience in a similar Design Engineering Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environmentBe proficient using 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor etc.Good theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge of core principles and tight tolerancesExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenProficient using MS OfficeExcellent organisational skills and time management skillsHave the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve: Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawingsLiaising with manufacturing providersBeing involved in final assembly of productsCreating the required documentation for ..... full job details .....
