Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Body Builder / Coach Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and customising bodies for various vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Duties

• Construct and assemble vehicle bodies according to specifications using hand tools and power tools
• Repair and modify existing vehicle structures to meet client requirements
• Conduct measurements, alignments, and fittings to ensure precise assembly
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and components safely and efficiently
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during the build process
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace to adhere to health and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
• Inspect completed work for defects or imperfections before final delivery

Experience

• Proven experience in body building or coach building is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding vehicle structures and systems
• Hands-on experience with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and hammers
• Proficiency with power tools including drills, grinders, and saws
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with physical strength and stamina
• Familiarity with safety procedures related to working with heavy equipment and materials
