Senior Events Manager

.Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experienceContract: Full Time, PermanentWorking pattern: 5 over 7 days,including unsociable hours due to late event finishes.About the Senior Events Manager role:To execute, manage and lead all events on site with the assistance of the Events ManagerTo manage catering logistics, including event file handling, event briefing sheet and service plansTo manage orders of equipment, beverages and staffingTo ensure all areas are safe, clean, tidy and secure after an eventBuilding a strong relationship with other onsite events teams, working towards growing our share of events.To ensure all enquiries and client feedback are managed professionally and in a timely mannerTo continuously work towards improving sales and serviceTo support office administrator in administration tasks such as payroll and closing the week procedures, and deputise in their absenceProvide appropriate guidance and support to all direct reportsLeading and motivating the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training and mentoringFinancial and budget management including forecasting, cost control and forward planningAbout the ideal candidate:Previous experience in a similar role is desirableEnthusiastic about working in a dynamic and fast paced environmentExcellent communicator with the ability to motivate and inspireFlexibility to work on events as and when requiredPassion for food and wine is a plus!Additional Information
