Overview

The Senior Graduate Recruitment Manager will be responsible for driving excellence across the Graduate Recruitment and Development (GRandD) function in London and across EMEA. The role will work closely with GRandD Partners, recruitment panels, and key stakeholders to deliver a market-leading graduate recruitment strategy, ensure exceptional candidate experiences, maintain rigorous recruitment standards, and attract diverse, high-quality talent aligned with the Firm’s brand and global objectives.Main responsibilities

London:

Lead, coach, and develop the London GRandD team and foster a high-performance culture; build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to shape and execute strategic recruitment initiatives; design and implement the Firm’s Graduate Recruitment marketing, attraction and media strategy; lead and manage all HR-related areas for the trainee solicitor population; oversee strategic projects and manage an annual budget; maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends to inform continuous improvement.Recruitment:

Work with the Graduate Recruitment Officers (GROs) to lead and deliver the First-year insight schemes, training contract and vacation scheme recruitment; collaborate with the Graduate Recruitment Interview Panel to ensure best practices and robust decision making; build relationships with universities, law faculties, careers services, and student societies; oversee the annual Graduate Recruitment marketing campaign; partner with Inclusion and Diversity teams to align recruitment with the firm’s diversity agenda; design and deliver presentations and training on recruitment best practices.Development:

Collaborate with the Training Principal, Trainee Partners, Department Managers, Leadership and Learning (LandL) and GRDOs to manage and deliver the trainee development programme through to qualification; oversee the trainee seat allocation and secondment process; manage qualification decisions with Partners and senior leaders; provide pastoral care and oversee trainee development processes and regulatory compliance.EMEA:

Build and maintain relationships with Early Careers teams across the EMEA region; evolve graduate marketing and attraction strategy across the region; design and deliver attraction campaigns and events; align recruitment goals with regional headcount targets; manage employer branding and digital strategy for local markets while maintaining global brand consistency; drive data-informed insights, regional collaboration, and best-practice sharing; pursue innovative recruitment solutions and economies of scale where possible; oversee intern and vacation scheme programmes.Skills and experience

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not essentialProven experience managing a Graduate Recruitment team, preferably in a legal or large professional services environmentExperience working across multiple EMEA jurisdictionsUnderstanding of recruitment best practices and the wider graduate recruitment marketSubject matter expert with the ability to drive strategic projects; capable of operating at both strategic and tactical levelsStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including advising senior leadershipExcellent organizational and project management abilities; able to work independently and across multiple locationsCultural sensitivity and adaptability in a multinational environmentPassionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment and talent developmentMarket knowledge and understanding of the legal education landscape across Europe (London, Amsterdam, Brussels, and other hubs)Knowledge of regulatory and cultural nuances impacting early careers in the EMEA regionProficient in Microsoft Office; experience with applicant tracking systems; able to analyze data to inform decisions; familiarity with digital recruitment tools and social mediaReports to:
