My client is a diverse leisure and hospitality group based in North London with plans to continue to develop their revenue streams. They seek an accounts assistant to join the finance team and support the CFO with a broad range of finance transactions. You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring that transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This a permanent role based on-site in North London, there is a great opportunity to develop your skills and further your studies in this role. Key responsibilities will include: Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions. Liaise with customers to ensure monies are received on time Assist with carrying out stock checks Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Successful candidates will have some relevant experience in a similar finance role, knowledge of accounting principles and experience of Excel and accounting software. The role requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, good organisational and time management skills. You will be a team player with a strong work ethic and have a positive attitude, the ability to work independently, demonstrating and confidence, and to be part of a team.
