This is a hands-on role which will require a strong understanding of financial technical accounting skills.Key Responsibilities:Management and preparation of month-end activities Accruals and prepayments Inter-company transactions and reconciliations Ad-hoc analysis, reporting and variance analysis Reconciliations and control accountsStatutory accounts - Support the FD and external consultant producing the accounts Oversee Irish/Portugal entity statutory accounts and tax computations Bank approvals - payments, new vendors, new users etcBalance Sheet reviews Systems and process improvementSupport the Finance Director as required Candidate Requirements:ACCA/CIMA Qualified with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experienceMicrosoft Excel - strong working skills are essentialRevenue Recognition - particularly around servicesStrong analytical skills and an eye for detailStrong time management and organisational skillsAbility to effectively prioritise and remain calm and consistent under pressureTeam Management and Communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the business including cross functionalWorking Knowledge of Microsoft NAV is advantageous At Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
