SEND Learning Support Assistant
SEMH PractitionerJob Type: Full-time, Term-timeLocation: Tower Hamlets, LondonHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PMWe are seeking a dedicated SEMH Practitioner with experience in SEND and interventions to join our Welfare team at a secondary SEN boys'' school. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in SEMH, looking to make a significant impact in a pastoral capacity.Day-to-day of the role:Address and manage behavioural issues as they arise.Conduct interventions with dysregulated boys, focusing on emotional and behavioural support.Work collaboratively within the pastoral team to provide specialist SEN support and interventions.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience in SEMH and interventions.Background in either social work, psychology, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with students facing emotional and behavioural challenges.Ability to work independently and as part of a team within the school''s welfare framework.Commitment to the pastoral and caring aspects of the role, with a hands-on approach to intervention.If this role interests you, then please do send me over your updated CV to . ..... full job details .....
