This role is perfect for someone with strong month-end, reporting, and analytical skills who is ready to hit the ground running.The RoleIn this role, you''ll take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and providing valuable insights to help improve performance. Your work will span PandL and balance sheet analysis, month-end processes, and supporting with a variety of finance projects.Key Responsibilities: Support the financial performance of selected business units, covering both PandL and balance sheet. Prepare and review month-end results against budget, providing variance analysis and commentary. Complete specific balance sheet reconciliations and identify improvements to processes and controls. Support management accounts production and assist with audit and statutory reporting requirements. Ensure accurate and timely sales invoicing, including correct VAT application and maintenance of VAT records. Collaborate with operational managers to enhance understanding of financials and drive performance.
