There is also the opportunity to transition from a temporary role to a permanent position within just 3 6 months. The Role: As an HGV Class 1 driver, your primary responsibility will be to safely deliver cages of stock and totes to retail stores, using roll cages and navigating different environments while working under time pressures. You will be working closely with a Driver s Mate to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will work 4 to 5 days per week on regular -hour shifts, with start times between 4:00 PM and 2:00 AM. (Paid breaks are included.) Pay Rates: We offer fantastic pay with additional earnings for premium shifts: £19.67 per hour Day shifts £21.26 per hour Night shifts £22.85 per hour Overtime £23.92 per hour Sundays and Bank Holidays What You Need: A valid HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence Digital Tachograph and CPC Card Minimum 2 years experience driving Class 1 vehicles A maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence (SP and TS offences only) Sound knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive regulations You will be required to complete an assessment to evaluate your vehicle knowledge, competency, and driving skills across all road types, including motorways, urban areas, and rural routes.
